PROJECT:

Augmenting client teams with additional staff to revamp a mobile application that enables users, hairstylists and barbershop owners to offer their services on one central platform.

THE CHALLENGES:

Timeline: With limited internal resources and a tight timeline, Magenta needed a fully-functioning app in just four months.

Payments: The Magenta team wanted to use Stripe to accept payments, but they ran into issues with this because it wasn’t possible for in-app purchases – leaving them looking for other solutions.

Code structures: An existing (but incomplete) app framework needed to be completely rewritten with new parameters and standards to be set by the client.

SOLUTION:

Deployment of a full-fledged mobile app featuring multiple user classes, a custom API for in-app payments, and full messaging and communications capabilities.
